Note: Some of our grape varieties were imported into Canada and/or Ontario under, let’s say, less than technical supervision. It is my understanding that ‘Royalties’ have not been remitted by some purveyors of plant stock. Scott’s Grape & Berry Co. will retain $1.00 of each sale for remittance as Royalties to The University of Minnesota for their contributory product line (Frontenac / Frontenac Gris, La Crescent, Marquette & others when released) and to any other ‘Breeder’ where the claim has been validated. This will assist in further Research & Development. Unclaimed ‘Royalties’ will be reinvested into an on site plant breeding program.
